Street Art #1
I am a real street art junkie. And this city is a real street art heaven. It's like a huge gallery in the open, with artworks scattered everywhere, hidden behind the corners or in tiny narrow streets. One of my favourite things to do is to walk around this labyrinth of a gallery and "collect" the art I stumble upon by taking pictures of it. It's like a treasure hunt.

I've done lots of art studies, in university and also on my own. I'm
exposing myself daily to all kinds of visual arts, from classic
paintings to weird modern stuff like installations made using trash and light projectors. I find street art to be the most organic and natural form of expression. It's like it has grown there.
Most of the art in galleries is dead. Or it's living an artificial life. It's there for the sake of being viewed, of the artist expressing something and gaining recognition. Street art, however, is actually living a genuine life on its own. Audience doesn't matter. Author doesn't matter. It's just there for its own sake, a part of the environment, living and dying with it.
